Fantastic. Courteous staff at collection (Cairns) and drop-off (Sydney). Pre-collection video briefing on vehicle care very useful. Didn't need it, but very reassuring to know 24/7 emergency contact was always available. Vehicle as-described and had no significant issues at all. All in all, very pleased indeed, thank you you.
Cant be happier if i tried, I picked up a Kuga Camper from Travellers Autobarn Sydney, the staff were very helpful in making sure i knew my way around the van & that the van was as clean as a whistle. The Entire Trip was lovely, the van drove like a dream & the onboard equipment made camping as easy as possible, being able to keep everything nice and cold in the fridge & Cook as simple as turning the cook top on and cooking, washing up was as simple as putting the tap on and washing up. The best thing for the tall guys out there, we were able to fit myself & my firend that we both are 6ft+ with room to fit our partners due to the bunk bed!
Had the Kuga campervan for a long weekend down in the snowies! Surprisingly easy and nimble to drive and made the journey feel easy. Love that you've got the space to stand up inside and they can provide everything you need in terms of living equipment for living on the road. Would recommend!
Such a great experience!! Picked up the van in Brisbane, and taken down to Sydney. The quality of the van and mechanics was really good, and interacting with customer service was smooth as! We even ran into a couple other TA vans on the way down, and they were the loveliest people too. What a cool community! Thanks to Scott in Brisbane and Sam in Sydney - you guys are legends :) Would definitely recommend TA for your travels :)

We were travelling with this company for the first time and I have to say that we are very satisfied. I can them highly recommended because the service was very good and also the staff was very nice to us.
I hired a car from Sydney to Melbourne (as a solo 23 year old female) and had a great time. Customer service was great both ends. In Sydney they allowed me to drive around a bit with them first to get used to it as I’d not driven in Australia before. They even greeted me with a coconut to drink. And then in Melbourne they ensured I could get an Uber ok to get myself into town. They provided a gas stove and all cooking/eating appliances as well as a tent, camping chairs, a table etc. basically everything you could need apart from a mattress which I had to get myself. I found sleeping in the back of the car very easy and always found nice car parks on park4night to park in. I felt extremely safe and comfortable with the car. Was perfect for me and honestly not that much more expensive than staying in hostels and paying for transport. 10/10 reccomend

We rented the chubby camper for 3 weeks to travel down to Sydney and had a fantastic time with a cozy van. I think next time we would rent the slightly bigger one but it’s not necessary as this has all it needs. (Just a usb fridge would have made it more perfect) Thank you for an unforgettable time!

We rented a Chubby nan for 2 weeks. All went smooth, the van was mechanically in very good conditions. Equipment for e.g., cooking was good. We can recommend traveler's Autobarn.
CAIRNS
Great service, both at pick-up in Brisbane (thx Lewis!) and and drop-off very friendly and smooth procedure by Ethan! Good to have a van with automatic gear (pre order them when reserving!), the manual is very heavy with changing gears (apparently that is normal for these Toyota’s).
Many thanks to the super friendly Team at Travellers Autobarn Cairns for the prompt pick up of our campervan. The mobile phone adapter and the electric kettle were thrown in for the deal. Thank you so much for your friendly service
Very good experience! In the future we will use this company again to rent. The instructions are clear and all the steps are quick. The vehicle was pleasant to drive and a few days before the rental, we received an explanatory video on how it works. The equipment is perfect and we had no problems. Thanks to Tim and Kat who welcomed us into the agency (Melbourne and Cairns). They were nice and we leave with a good image of Australia. We spent a wonderful month on the road with your beautiful van! Between Sydney, Brisbane, Magnetic Island and Port Douglas in one month! Everything fantastic! We used your application to search for campsites, bathrooms and fountains and they were all marked! We had a good time even when we had a small problem... super helpful, especially the Cairns team who fixed the van very quickly. Greetings to them, especially to Katja and Jacinta. Amazing customer service, amazing vehicle that allowed me to have a great 6 weeks travelling from Sydney to Cairns. I had a car crash, but luckily I bought the best insurance so I was fully covered, definitely recommend. Really simple and perfectly made campervan, comfy bed and well designed kitchenette.

We had a great experience with Wayne at Travellers Autobarn in Perth as we handed back our Chubby Campervan that we drove down the West Coast. He was very helpful and welcoming, even though we were a tad late. We’re looking forward to hiring another Chubby to take us down the South West!
Had a camper for 9 nights from Perth Travellers Autobarn. Absolutely loved the van and the experience with this branch. On collection of the vehicle the lady who met us (sorry can’t remember her name) was so friendly and helpful. A really genuine and helpful person. We were shown our van and explained that little things like the fridge had been switched on a few hours earlier so it was cool already for when a shop was done. The van had recently been refitted out so everything was new and there were extra additions such as a solar panel on the roof. This allowed for 12 volt usb output at anytime to charge devices from (great when booking unpowered camp sites). A pot of tea bags, coffee and sugar were provided just so you have the basics to start rather than needing to immediately go to a supermarket. When asked what route we were planning and explained, we were told that when we got back they would drop us to the airport to make our flight. The service from booking, pick up to taking the car back was fantastic. Easy process and workers were very helpful & informative. The car was perfect for what I needed. It was roomy, comfortable drivers seat and had the power I needed to overtake the big road trains. I absolutely loved my WA road trip in the Ford falcon station wagon.
We had the most incredible trip in Perth thanks to Travellers Autobarn campervans. Dale was so helpful, had great advice and made the process super easy from start to finish. We hired a chubby camper and drove just over 2000k from Perth to Albany and Margaret river. The van was really comfortable and clean and we enjoyed having the facilities to cook our own meals along the way. We had everything we needed to make the trip run smoothly and we knew we could reach out if we had any questions. Couldn’t recommend the company enough. Thanks for such a special trip Dale. DARWIN
After hiring campervans (I always got the Kuga model) with travellers autobarn 5 times within the last couple of months, I want to leave a short review. In general I was very satisfied with the company, with the service, the lovely, yet professional staff and of course also with the vehicles every single time. I always booked on very short notice, sometimes just 3 days before I started my journey and it always worked. Some vans I had were a bit older with high mileage but they were all well kept, in a very good mechanical condition and absolutely reliable. The Kuga I rented in Darwin was still very new, had a slightly more beautiful interior than the others, low mileage and even got fancy extras like built-in Bluetooth and a remote control to lock and unlock the car (which I didn’t miss with the others but it was really nice to have). Also the service in Darwin was great and very helpful - despite it only being one person. This is a general review and not branch related. We did a 40 days roadtrip in a Kuga campervan from Darwin to Perth and near 9000 kilometers. Pick-up in Darwin went smooth and fast and staff was friendly. Our campervan was pretty old and beat up with over 300K's on it. Campervan exterior was cleaned and polished thoroughly before our arrival which was great. The campervan did deviate from the pictures on the website as only the sliding door had a glass window. Due to limited lighting it made the interior dark and a bit claustrophobic compared to our other rental experience which had windows all around it. It was a bit of a surprise so to say but eventually we got used to it.. Opted for some extra's as camping chairs, camping table and solar shower. The chairs and table were old and used quite extensively. Solar shower had a puncture in it and we got it refunded via Customer Support. In the end for the price you can get cheaper and brand new chairs and tables at Big W or K mart. I had to repair the fly...
